Database support

Prerequisites

The first step in preparing the environment is to install the database. The database is used to store documents, authorizations and all settings on the system.

EBA DMS is developed on a free and open source PostgreSQL database and is also recommended for use as there is no need to buy any licenses to use this database. Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases are also supported.

Each tenant of the EBA DMS system is obliged to ensure the operation and maintenance of the database and is obliged to create a database with appropriate settings before installing the system.

The instructions below are intended solely as a guide and recommendation for creating the database, database users, and other settings required for the operation of the EBA DMS.

If you prefer to use Microsoft SQL or Oracle SQL, you need to perform additional settings.
